AUSTRALIA BEAT WESTINDIES IN FINAL

Australia are back to doing what they specialize in - winning finals of One-Day International ODI competitions. The win against West Indies at the  Oval on Sunday (June 26) was their 57th in competition finals - a number that is more than two times more noteworthy than that won by the following best group. From an unsafe 173 for 6, Matthew Wade's battling unbeaten 57 conveyed them to a testing 270 which demonstrated a lot for West Indies at last. The West Indian pursue never got going and once Mitchell Marsh took three significant wickets, there was no chance to get back for the home group.
The West Indian openers started in an attentive way in the pursuit even as Mitchell Starc, who discovered some swing from the get-go, was precluded the wicket from securing Johnson Charles as an airborne Steven Smith put down an intense catch at second slip. Stand out four came in the initial six overs before Charles raised the stakes with a whirlwind of limits, including a six off Josh Hazlewood. Andre Fletcher, then again, was attempting to hurry before he was put out of his hopelessness when he edged a Hazlewood conveyance to Smith to leave for 9, scored at a rate of 36.
